In simple words for upsc you have to revise text books of all subjects starting from 8th standard history geography science .. everything(ncrt is must)
then you move on to newspapers :: 3 daily
The HINDU
THE Times of India
etc.
especially editorials, ... you should also practice rewriting them in you own words in different formats like points ,essay argument ,counter argument etc.
for current affairs reading comprehensive magazines like chronocle
csr youjna is must.
here you also get excerpts of real interviews of IAS IPS .. i.e. successful people and writeups from veterans.
This year onwards there is going to be CSAT.. ie aptitude test so you should enroll with time, career launcher etc.
You should also buy yearbooks such as Manorama, CSR yearbook etc.
