Dear friend,

Any single book will not completely satisfy your needs as it may explain some
topics very well and miss some topics. So , i would like to suggest you
to prepare according to the syllabus. Just go for books explaining the
required topic very well and prepare short notes for further revision.
Also revise your major course in B.Tech/B.E. as SET exams consists 100 questions from it to test your knowledge.

In SET is easy when compare to NET exam. But you can try for both exams.Some of the websites to refer:

2.www.indiabix.com (aptitude)
3.www.VPmclasses.com etc.,
If you are interested you can also join in any of the coaching centres,it will be helpful for you in preparation.

there is no any shortcut for crack the NET exam from Computer Science
its must that you have more logical mind and have good knowledge of mathmatics....!!!!
allways prefer some standard books, related to the topic
more focused on these six papers:
DAA[Algorithm]
Automata
Networking
Neural Network
Computer Organizarion
and descrete mathmatics
