CBSE conducts CTET for recruitment of teachers for upto class VIII. Those who wish to teach in a CBSE school must clear CTET or TET conducted by state. CTET has two papers. Paper I is for those who are applying for Primary stage(Class I-V) and Paper II is for elementary stage(class VI-VIII). One can apply for both if eligibility criteria is satisfied.
Minimum Qualification
For primary stage or class I to V :-

• Those who have passed or in the final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education with at least 50% marks in senior secondary or equivalent can apply. In case the diploma is in accordance with the NCTE minimum marks should be obtained in senior secondary is 45%.
• A Bachelor's degree and diploma in elementary education is also eligible.
• Those who have done 4 year duration B.El.Ed or a special 2 year diploma in education can apply for primary stage. In both cases minimum marks in senior secondary required is 50%

For Elementary Stage or class VI to VIII :-

• Graduates with 2-year diploma in Elementary Education can apply.
• Candidates who have done 1 year B.Ed is eligible. Provided one should get 50%(45% in case of diploma is in accordance with NCTE) or more in senior secondary or equivalent examination.
• B.El.Ed degree holders with at least 50% marks in senior secondary can also write Paper II.
• Reserved category candidates get 5% concession in minimum marks required in all case.

I HAVE COMPLETED TWO YEARS DIPLOMA IN TEACHER TRAINING D.T.ED. WITH 88% AND B.LITT IN TAMIL WITH 56% CAN I APPLY FOR B.ED.POST TET EXAM.I AM HAVING 86% IN TENTH STANDARD AND 92.5% IN HIGHER SECONDARY

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test.
TET exam is conducted at state level by various state boards.
In order to appear in TET exam you should have to complete your graduation from a recognized university and you must have B.Ed degree.

There is no upper age limit for this exam. Also there is no limit for no. of attempts.
You have to score minimum 60 percent in the TET test to qualify for teaching jobs.

Graduate Teachers: BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com with 50% marks with B.T./ B.Ed. degree
Hindi Teacher: Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and graduates degree or B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T / B. Ed. degree
Classical Teacher (Sanskrit): Shastri with 50% marks and graduates degree or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree
Classical Teacher (Arabic, Urdu, Persian): MM with 50% marks and graduates degree or B.A with Arabic as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T./B.Ed.
Classical Teacher (Assamese, Manipuri): B.A with Honors/ Major in concerned subject with 50% marks and B.T. / B.Ed. degree.
Maximum Age limit is 38 years.

TET Exam is Generally Known As CTET(Central Teacher Eligibility Test).
CTET Exam is Conduct by CBSE Board in Instruction of NCTE.
NCTE Stands for National Council for Teacher Education.

TET Exam is Conduct for Measuring Skills of Every Candidate to Become Teacher. TET Exam is also conducted by State Govt.


Required Criteria for TET ::-

To appear in the Entrance Examination than you have to satisfy the below eligibility criteria ..

Applicant should be Citizen of Indian origin and the Applicant should be Complet graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

Note :- The Applicant should be Compulsory Completed B.Ed degree Course with good percentage of marks ..

Applicant need to score Minimum 50% Percentage of marks in B.Ed Course ..

There is no age limit to appear for the exam.
