how much i have to score in 12th class

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year. This will be the entrance exam for the candidates to be placed into various Defence services like
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing.

As you mentioned, no percentage criteria is required for the candidates in 12th class in order to be eligible for this exam.

One should have completed 12th class from a recognized board in order to be eligible for NDA Exam to join Army wing.

But if the candidate wanted to join in Navy and Air Force wing through NDA Exam, the candidate must have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in 12th class

In addition, one should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

You should be an unmarried male candidate to be eligible for this exam.

The upcoming NDA Exam is going to be conducted on 15-04-2012. The last date to apply for this exam is by 30-01-2012.

To join NDA there is no requirement of percentage of marks in 12th.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry into three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

To appear for NDA exam one should either pass or appearing final exam of 12th standard from any stream unmarried male within the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years of age.

All you need is you just have to complete your 12th in any trade.
After passing out 12th you will be able to apply for NDA exam..

-NDA Examination was conducted by UPSC Every year as NDA (I) and NDA (II).

-If you have completed your 12Th examination and If your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

There are Three wings in NDA Examination - Army wings, Air force wings and Naval wings.

-For army wings, you need to complete your 12Th examination in any discipline form a recognised Board and final year 12Th candidates are also apply for NDA Examination.

-And for air force and Naval wings, you need to complete your 12Th examination with Physics and Maths as a compulsory subjects.

-There is no need to scored minimum Percentage marks, Because any 12Th passed candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination. So after completing 12Th you are eligible for NDA Examination.

* The word "NDA" stands for National Defense Academy.

* The Union Public Service Commission conducts the exam for NDA twice every year.

* The eligibility criteria required for NDA exam are :

- You must have Indian Nationality.

- You must have passed your 12th with a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized board.

- Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

- You must be unmarried male.

- You should be physically & mentally fit.

So , according to the above mentioned , the minimum percentage required in order to appear in the exam is 45%.

as you have scored 51%,hence you are eligible if you have scored all these in class XII exam.but let me give you eligibility criteria for NDA--

----Eligibility Criteria---

---candidates should have passed or appearing XII class from a recognized board or university.

-----the age required to appear for this between 16.5 to 19 years,including the limiting dates.

subject combination---

• candidates having PCM can also apply in all the three branches mentioned above.

• candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy and not for navy or airforce.

Eyesight limitations--

one should have a minimum corrected vision of at least 6 / 12 in each eye. one could also have 6 / 6 in the healthier eye and 6 / 18 in weaker eye with spectacles with power not more than + / -5.50 Diopters, inclusive of astigmatism in any meridian with full field of vision and Minimum C.P-IV unsafe color vision.

For NDA, there is no percentage restriction. You just need to pass in 12th standard from a recognized Institute.
