Hai,
There are no percentage is needed in your 10th and 12th to apply for indian airforce.
So no need to worry about the percentage directly you can apply for the NDA exam, NDA exam which is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should be complete +2 from a recognised state board of india.

Age limits is 16.5years to 19years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Candidate should be physically fit.

So if you fulfill above criteria then you have to apply NDA exam but in this no percentage restrictions.

It is to inform that you can join Indian Air Force by giving NDA entrance exam & there is no required percentage of marks in 10th & 12th class to appear in NDA exam.
NDA entrance exam is conducted by UPSC & NDA Exam held twice in a year. The Two Exam of NDA is generally held as NDA 1 & NDA II.

NDA:- National Defence Academy
UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission

NDA have following defence wings...

Indian Air Force
Indian Navy
Indian Army

Through NDA exam you can get in any of the following wings.


Requirements to eligible for NDA Entrance:

• You should have completed 12th standard or Equivalent Certificate from recognized university/Board.
  
• You are also eligible for NDA exam while studding in 12th standard.
  
• If you want to join Indian Air Force then you have to pass 12th standard with PCM subjects.
  
• To appear in NDA exam, your Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.
  
• You should be Unmarried, Male & citizen of India.

Physical Standard required for NDA:

Minimum HeightAir Force) - 162.5Cms.

Eye Sight(Indian Air Force)- Distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6. Near vision N-5 each eye, Myopia: Nil, Hypermetropia: +2 D Sph. Astigmatism +0.75 Color Vision CPI (MLT).

Weight(Indian Air Force): minimum 47 Kg.

Chest: Minimum requirement is 84cm and you should be able to expand the chest for 5cm.

The minimum percentage in 10+2, required to join indian air force is 60% with mathematics and physics as main subjects.

Friend After passing 12th with Physics and Maths you are eligible for Indian Air Force.

For Indian Air Force no percentage is require.

After passing 12th you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

For Airmen,
Generally no one ask your percentage but to get your hall ticket you should have at least 60% otherwise they wont send you hall ticket......there is no fix percentage it is cutoff marks. It may increase or decrease depends on how many candidates apply and how much marks they scored in 12th.

For NDA,
You should have physics and mathematics at 12th level with agreegate 55%

Indian Air Force can be joined after 12th through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted twice every year by UPSC to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing.

There is no percentage of marks required as criteria in any level of education to join IAF through NDA.

Then eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Further if you want to join Indian Air Force after Graduation through AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) - The candidate being a Graduate in any stream of education with 60% marks from a recognised University, will be the criteria.

You can join in airforce through the NDA exam
And this exam is conducted for recruit the Indian airforce , navy, army.

So, if you belongs to science category you canelogible for this exam.

For this exam eligibility ;
You must be indian,
Have 12th with PCM,
And your age 16.5 - 19 yrs
And you must be physically fit.

If you are not belongs to PCM then you cannot eligible for this exam.

You should be atleast 10+2 pass with Physics , Chemistry and Maths for joining Indian Air Force as officer.

NDA examination is the option for you after 10+2 and there is no percentage limit for it. You should be just pass in your 12th class.

The age required is 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried Indian male can apply for it.

You must have good physical and mental health then only you can join NDA.

The NDA examination will have objective type paper and SSB interview.

If you come in merit list after the above then you will undergo Medical examination. Those who pass medical examination will join NDA.

Hence you must be well prepared for it then only you can join Indian Air Force after 10+2 as an officer.

There is Group X and Group Y trade posts also for you after 10+2 but these posts are non officers post.

For non Officer posts you must have 50% or above marks in 10+2 then only you can apply for it.

The age limit for Indian Air Force Group X and Y trade is 17.5 to 23 years . The selection will be based on written exam and physical fitness test.

So you have only above options after 12th . Hence be prepared for it.

There is nothing to be regarded about the percentage to be got in 10th as it is nothing to be worried about,as it has nothing to be done with joining in Indian Air Force

The percentage for you to think and be aware about is the +2 percentile and there is nothing specific about the percentage which you need to have got in order to join in Indian Air Force.It is just that you need to have got a fair percentage in your respected +2.

For joining in Indian Air Force which is a Defence force of India you need to write the entrance exam for it and there are various entrance exam which are conducted in India and you need to write them as per the qualification which you possess.

As per the qualification of completed +2 you can write the entrance exam which is the NDA exam as it is the only Defnece service exam which offers you to join in IAF with a qualification of completed +2

With the education qualification you are eligible for the exam as there are certain other criteria's which are needed to be satisfied along with that and they are:

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citiezenship in India

>> The Martial Status for the NDA exam is that the candidate must be a Unmarried male candidate


>> The age limit needed for the exam is 16 1.2-19 years

>> Candidate appearing for the exam must be Physically fit while appearing for the exam as it is important.


If you are going to satisfy them all then you can apply for the NDA Exam in order to join in Indian Air Force
