NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed Masters Degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above in masters degree and for SC/ST candidate must be hold 45% above in masters degree.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

From this year NET exam is totally based on MCQ type even 3rd paper also.

The candidate should be completed post graduation from a recognized university for eligible this exam.

The candidate score a min of 55% marks in the post graduation to eligible this exam.

There is no upper age limit for the Net exam. The min age limit is 19 years.

But Junior Research Fellowship the age limit is 19 to 28 years.

NET - NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UPSC two times a year for selection of Lectureship and award to Junior Research Fellowship(JRF).

The required percentage of marks in Post Graduation is 55% to apply for NET.

Apart from that the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Post Graduation in any stream from a recognised University with at least 55% marks(50% for SC/ST candidate) not bellow the age of 19 years, is eligible to apply for NET. Threr is no upper age bar for those applying for Lectureship but those applying for JRF should not be above 28 years of age.
