To be eligible for the post of Data Entry Operator, you must have qualified +2 level of examination from a recognized board.
The minimum eligible age is 18 years.
The maximum age limit is 27 years.
The minimum typing speed should be as follows:
Hindi- 25 words / minute
English- 30 words / minute

SSC Eligibility Criteria for Data Entry Operator & LDC
SSC will hold a written test for recruitment of Data Entry Operator & LDC on 21/10/2012 and 28/10/2012. The test is also known as SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination or SSC CHSL. Only those candidates are eligible for this Written Examination who fulfill following eligibility criteria

Educational Qualifications: Those aspirants who have qualified in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or possess any equivalent qualification from a recognized board are eligible to apply for Data Entry Operator and LDC Jobs. Qualifications will be reckoned as on 01/08/2012.
Note: Degree obtained through Open University/Distant Education must be recognized by Distant Education Council, IGNOU.

Age Limit: Age of the candidates who are going to apply for Data Entry Operator & Lower Division should be between 18 years and 27 years as on 01/08/2012. i.e. born not before 02/08/1985 and not after 01/08/1984.

Age Relaxations:

SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PH – 10 years, PH (OBC) – 13 years, PH (SC/ST) – 15 years
