HI,
A girl can apply for Indian Air force after passing gradation with any stream.
For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E).

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

Women's can only apply in Indian Air force as an officer after the completion of thair graduation. Their are 2 entry schemes through which you can join Indian Air force as an officer. These are Air force common admission test(AFCAT) and Combined defence service examination(CDSE). The eligibility criteria required for both of the entry schemes is given below:


AFCAT
The Air force common admission test is conducted by the Indian Air force twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in various branches of Indian Air force such as FLYING BRANCH, GROUND DUTY BRANCH AND TECHNICAL BRANCH.

For the AFCAT exam a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination. It should be note that for the TECHNICAL BRANCH only the engineering candidates are eligible.

Age Limit
FLYING BRANCH
19-23 years

GROUND DUTY BRANCH
18-23 years

TECHNICAL BRANCH
18-28 years

CDSE
You can also apply for the Indian Air force through Combined defence service examination. This examination is conducted by the Union Public service commission twice in a year. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Candidates applying for the Indian Air force and Navy should have physics and maths at 10+2. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit
Indian Military Academy 19-23 Years
Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years

Women can apply for IAF in officer rank after completion of graduation course..

After which you can appear in defense service exams like- CDS, AFCAT..

Eligibility for CDS exam:-

For Officer training academy scheme:-
1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..

2.Candidates age should be in between 19-24 years.

3.Candidate must be unmarried/divorced/widow female ..

4.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

5.Candidate must be physically fit.

These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill..

Through AFCAT exam one can apply for different section in defense..
Eligibility for AFCAT exam:-

For Flying branch:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade but must had maths and physics in 12th.

2.Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.

For Technical branch:-

1.candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.

2.Candidates age should be in between 18-28 years..

For Ground duty branch:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..

2.Candidates age should be in between 20-27 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill.

Female Indian candidates can join Indian Airforce through following entry modes...

Short service Commission (SSC) Examination: Graduation degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.

National Cadet Corps (NCC) special entry: NCC 'B' and 'C' certificate.

Technical Entry Scheme (TES): BE/B-Tech degree in the relevant discipline.

Direct Entry Scheme for Aeronautical/Mechanical engineers: Undergraduate degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical engineering.

Direct Recruitment in Indian Airforce ground duty branches (SCC for Women): Graduation degree with minimum 60% marks in the subjects as per advertisement.

First of all you have to complete your graduation degree in any branch then you should have to apply for either CDS or AFCAT exam........

>> Applying For Both the exam A candidate should have completed their Graduation Degree in any Discipline With At least 55% from Recognized Universities.....

>> Final year Graduation student also applicable.....

>> A candidate should have Nationality of INDIA....

>> Age Should be between 21 to 28 years.....


Exam pattern:

1. Prelim Exam
2. Main exam
3. Personal interview and Physical Test

Physical Requirement:

>> A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health. Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 Cms expansion. Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes.

>> He should be able to read 6/6 in distant vision chart with each eye.

There are no special qualifications required for women other than those required for women the eligibility criteria is follows

Age limits :

21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. Upper age limit is relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs according to their reservations and those that are specified by UPSC every year.

Educational Qualifications :


Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
