for Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states so i suggest you to keep checking UPSC websites that is www.upse.nic.in and they qualifications are:-
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate must have hold a degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law. No person who has any financial interest in the import/manufacture of sale or drugs and cosmetics shall be appointed as an Inspector, under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1945. AGE : A candidate must be under 32 years and above 21 years of age. |

The working area of drug inspectors are the drug manufacturing and distribution sectors .The inspectors travels the various laboratories ,shops and pharmacies to check the quality of the drugs .
Qualification required = Candidate should have at least graduation in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical science .The graduate students of clinical ,microbiology are also can apply with at least 2 years expirience in any drug manufacturing company doing testing,manufacturing etc. Expected salary = 6,500/- to 10,500/- in starting Thank you |

Dear friend,
the drug inspector exams are done by the government of the all the states and it is based on the eligibility of the candidate. the candidate should completed his degree from the pharmacy and can be bsc holder inteh microbiology. there are some acts for the drugs and the candidate should have that knowledge in his mind. his age must be between the 21 to 30 years. he has minimum 55% in his degree. best of luck. |

Drug inspector is the inspector which inspect the medicine in the different medical store.
So, the qualification is on the basis of medical as B.Pharma and other. The exam is conducted by the different state commission board. so you update with these website . Age: A candidate must be under 32 years and above 21 years of age on the 31st January, of that year. |

to become a drug inspector according to the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1945, you have minimum b.pharma degree with minimum 3 years industrial experience and also there is an entrance exam in which you will fight. all the best |

here are the details my friend..
Drug inspectors are qualified persons who work in the manufacturing and distribution sector of drugs. These people visit various pharmacies, laboratories and drug-manufacturing stores to check the quality of the products manufactured and sold there. Eligibility: anyone appearing for the exam should have completed graduation in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences. Otherwise, they should be graduates in medicine with Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology specialization. In addition, they are required to have minimum 3 years experience in any drug manufacturing company doing manufacturing, testing and inspection works. hiii.. here is the exam pattern for u.. paper 1 (pharmacy) maximum marks-200 multiple choice questions-100 exam duration-2hr paper 2nd (general knowledge) maximum marks-50 multiple choice questions-50 exam duration-1hr then there will be Viva-Voce Test for 25 marks followed by the physical fitness test which will be conducted.. for study material u can logon to http://www.ecivilservicesindia.com and for more information u can log on to the official site http://www.upsc.gov.in. good luck.. |
