Sir,
please send me the details regarding the procedure to become drug inspector and food inspector. I have completed B.Pharmacy and want to prepare for drug inspector post.

For becoming a Drug Inspector or a Food Inspector, you have to pass a examination, which is usually conducted by the State Public Service Commission.

The educational qualification required for Drug and Food Inspector is given below.

Degree in Pharmacy/Microbiology/Medicine/Clinical Pharmacology from a recognized University.

Also one must have experience in drug testing lab for drug inspector post. The selection is based on the written examination interview.

The selection will be based on the following stages of the exam.

1. Preliminary Exam
2. Mains Exam
3. Interview

Therefore, be prepared for the above stages of the exam.
