Re: Salary after Pilot training? Can we join without science stream?
To become a pilot, aspirants need to join Air flying schools after completion of 10+2, they should pass the 10+2 exam with
physic, chemistry, math. Minimum marks should be 50%.So, you have to complete 10+2 to appear for any pilot training .... They need to clear the entrance test exam of the flying schools in India, they also need to clear the physical fitness (Which is tough one). Only totally fit person can get opportunity to get admission in flying schools. Don’t confuse with the job of pilot of Indian air Force. IAF pilot is selected through NDA exam, training is free!!!!! But if opt for private training it will be very costly.... |

Re: Salary after Pilot training? Can we join without science stream?
salary package after pilot course is very much good. to built your career you should not think about salary. you should go according to your interest. as you want to become a pilot you should go for that. obviously after pilot course the salary package is very high also easily you will get good job after the course.
there are various way to join in pilot training program. like you may join through NDA or you may join in Indian air force in flying branch then they will provide training for pilot. also you may join in pilot training program organized by various institute. in NDA and also in flying branch of Indian air force you should have physics, chemistry and mathematics in 12th. so arts students are not eligible for NDA and Indian air force. but in private institution those provide training for pilot arts students are eligible. arts student may take admission there but they have to give the expense of study yourself. best wishes. |

Re: Salary after Pilot training? Can we join without science stream?
Eligibility Criteria for Pilot Training:
- Candidate must have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. - Candidate should have scored minimum 50% in 12th. If you satisfy these criteria then you have to appear in entrance exam for pilot training. If you apply for private institutes then you have to pay fees for it. or else if you want to join Indian armed force as a pilot then you have to appear in NDA examination conducted by UPSC twice a year. And in Defence forces training is free of coat. Salary package offered to pilots are quit good. All the Best.... |

To join IAF as a pilot you must have Pysics and Mathematics at 10+2.
You can join IAF as a pilot after 10+2 and graduation by appearing in NDA and CDS/SSC examination respectively. Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level is mandatory to join as a pilot. |

Re: Salary after Pilot training? Can we join without science stream?
Dear friend,
In Indian Air Force pilots are selected through NDA and CDSE . For NDA in IAF and Indian Navy the candidate should be 12th pass with Physics and Maths. I think for civil flying school also the qualification should be the same for pilot training. Salary is very attractive of the pilots. It is Approximately 1,50,000 per month. In civil airlines it may extend to 2,00000 per month also. But in flying school training is very costly. But in Defense services it is free of cost. So take decision to go for...................... All the best...... |

Re: Salary after Pilot training? Can we join without science stream?
No all the pilot trainees cannot be placed in the jobs
because it depends ones interest and also his talent in the training session whether you opt for a private pilot training or govt pilot training all the criteria you need to get a job is you should be able to present your talent in the general flying sessions and so you should make your mark Getting a pilot job is not that easy as every one thinks as I can say this because my friend also faced problems in finding the job Don't do Time pass in your training period know all the techniques and do it.. you'll definitely do with it. all the very best ~aditya~ |

Salary moves up rapidly with year of experience and on the international route. Experienced pilot on international route can get 5-6 lakh Rupees per month as salary. |
