i want to know that,what is the salary of govt. engineer after clearing the upsc engineering service exams.

Salary is not everything for an IES engineer. The IES engineer enjoys lots of free services from the government.

Yeah they get paid around 40,000 monthly but if you include their monthly allowances then it can come to lakhs.

For eg like the government will provide a free bunglow along with a car and a driver. You will even have lots of power too.

So the salary,pay and perks are just great for IES engineers

salary is not a matter your posittion is very important.

govt. provide lots of facility . mini salary given 50000.00

Salary of a government engineer after clearing IES is about 5 lakh per annum, but more important than salary you will have a prestigious life with having a lot of power and facilities. So many people will work under you, which will give you inner pleasure. So, its very honourful to be an IES engineer.

UPSC is a exam for govt. jobs.
through this exam you can get salary of engineers as JE.
so you can get approx. salary of 40000 to 50000 and scale is also provided.

the salary of an government engineer after clearing ies exam varies from 40 to 50 thousand per month.
along with that, they also get government house, car, and many other services which make their life worthy.
that's why just getting selected in ies exam is sufficient. after that you will not have to think about salary anymore.

now a days starting salary of a government engg. is 38000 almost.
but you will have a great power if you get it.

Selection Grade: Rs. 15,100 /- to Rs. 400 /- to Rs. 18,300 /-

+ TA + DA + INCENTIVE + Other Facilities

According to 6th Pay commission the salary as followings:-
junior Officers Rs. 8000-275-13500
Senior Officers Rs. 10650-325-15200
Junior Administrative Grade Rs. 12,750-375-16,500
Selection Grade Rs. 15,100-400-18,300
Additional Secretary Rs. 22400-525-24500..

exam is in two parts-


Part I—The written examination will comprise two sections—Section I consisting only of objective types of questions and Section




Part II—Personality test carrying a maximum of 200 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the basis of the written examination.

preiction is not possible for ies ggineer.but they will get in hand salary of 35000 rs. also they will get allowance from government. so they will get total salary of 60 to 70 thousands.

salary for IES Engineer is 39k to 54 k as per as the Position, & these digits are total Monthly payment Given to Engineer including all allowances.

Hi Friends,
After completion of my engineering i started working in one software company. Now I am planning to write IES without leaving my job because I need job safety and I required it.
