Postal Assistant exam is conducted by the deportment of postal govt of India .

If you are reserved category candidate then you can secured only 55 % of marks and required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 27 years and here age relaxation available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.

Postal Assistant Exam Details:-

~To sit for this exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate or its equivalent from a recognized institution with not less than 60 percent of marks at 10+2 level.

~There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks and OBC candidates needs to secure 50% of marks in aggregate.

~For this exam it is important for you to know the local language of the State of the concerned postal circle. This will help you to communicate freely with the residents of that circle.

~It will also help if you have studied hindi at matriculation level or above. Since this is the official language of our country therefore you will get an edge over others.

~Mostly conceptual questions will be asked in the exam. Therefore you need to rack your brain and be very specific when attempting the questions. There will be four options for every question and you need to choose the correct one.

~The total time alloted for the paper is two hours and within this limited period of time you need to attempt 200 questions all in all. Better the marks, more will be your chances of getting selected.

~Apart from sitting for the written exam you may have to sit for a computer or typing test. This exam is also of vital importance and the time allotted for this exam is 30 minutes.

~The cost of the application fee is Rs. 200 for general category candidates and you can get the form from the head post offices or the other post offices in the circle.
