SCORING TOPICS IN MATHS:-

IN CO-ORDINATE GEOMETRY-MAINLY STRAIGHT LINESAND CIRCLES.HOWEVER 3D&2D WILL BE ALSO HELPFULL.

PHYSICS:-
ELECTROMAGNETISM,A.C.,MACHANICS,ATOMIC PHYSICS,KINEMATICS.

CHEMISTRY:-
NO TOPIC IS IMPORTANT THEN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY.HOWEVER TOUGH QUESTIONS ARE FROM PHYSICAL PART.

OTHER THEN IISERS &IIST INSTITUTES LIKE (DCE).HOWEVER IN ENTIRELLY DEPEND UPON WHICH RANK U ARE GETTING IN EML.DONT WORRY ABOUT IT JUST PREPARE FOR MAINS.

there is no particular topic which can be called scoring in iit.
just prepare the basics right thats it.

hey there are certainly some scoring topics like calculus,trigonometry.organic chemistry,kinematics.mastering these topics will certainly improve your score.
and other institutes like t.s. chanakya takes admission from eml.

see if you want to just clear it then important topics are required and on the basis of that only you will get the best iit institute

see friend..in IIT entrance exam paper they ask question from each and every topic of the sllabus...my friend believe me they will not leave evan a single topic..so work hard..there is no shortcut of success...so go and work hard only

some topics are preferred in iit like co-ordinate geometry and vectors .
also in physics there are good number of questions from electromagnetics

generally the portion of iit is the mixed combination of 11 th as well as 12th.....
if you are good at both the years then it becomes very simple to attempt as your basics will be very clear.....
so concentrate on your 12th std syllabus and go for a crash or attempt mock tests before going for the exam......you gain confidence from that.....

FRIEND ITS a national level exam and it completely depend on your interest that which subject and topic of yours are strong so you must work hard on the part in which you are strong

you must be aware that pattern is not same all the time so guessing is not a good idea study what you like the most and then opt for other topics calculus may give you good range .

dear friend iit changes its question pattern every year.
and it does not focus on any particular topics.it can give from any chapter which is included in syllabus.so give equal time for all topics.

the questions in IIT are generally come from 11th as well as 12th classes........so, just concentrate in your 11th and 12th class syllabus, if you want to crash the iit exams.

The most scoring topics according to me are organic chemistry,mechanics and calculus.

These are not only important sections but also very scoring and every year you can expect question from these lessons. So work hard on these topics and increase your chances for IIT

main scoring topics are

physics- mechanics , thermodynamics and optics

chemistry- thermodynamics,electrochemistry,and just follow chemistry NCERT word to word

maths - probability , differntiation,integration,complex numbers

this are the main topics but dont live other topics as they are also important

iit eml is just of not of much use , with iit eml you can get admissions in IISERS & IIST INSTITUTES
