All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam (AIPGMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The exam is conducted for the admission of post graduate courses like M.S, M.D and certain other courses.

Candidates who have completed their graduate level of education in medicine can apply for the test. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam will be objective in nature with multiple choice questions. Candidates who clear the test will be called for further counseling. The test will include questions from Pre-Clinical, Para- Clinical and Clinical subjects. The test will consist of only one paper.

Instructions to be followed while filling All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam (AIPGMEE) form

Candidates can submit the application form only through online method by visiting the official website of the institute, www.aiimsexams.org. Candidates should attach a digital passport size photograph (size less than 1000 kb) along with the application form. Candidates should also attach their signature with the form. The signature must be done in an area of 2” X 1” on paper with a black ball point pen. The size of the signature file should be within 1000 kb.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form

Out of the total seats allotted for the post graduation course, 7% of the seats are allotted for SC/ST candidates, 7% for OBC candidates, 24% for foreign candidates and the remaining seats for general category students.

Fee structure of AIPGMEE Exam

The application fees is Rs. 1000/- for general category students and Rs. 800/- for candidates who belong to SC/St categories. The fee amount can be paid through a challan (downloaded from the site while applying) in any of the branches of State Bank of India.

Last date for receipt of AIPGMEE applications

The online registration will start by first week of December. The registrations should be completed within the mid week of December. Late submissions will not be received by the institute. Candidates can get the exact dates from the official website of the institute.

Acknowledgement of AIPGMEE application form

Applicants will receive an acknowledgement card after proper submission of the application form. It will be received either through post or email. A notification message will be sent to the mobile number given in the application form. Candidates can also check the status of their application in the official website of AIPGMEE. This facility will be available from the last week of December.
