Some of the courses which you may pursue in marine field, being a Engineering Graduate, are as follows:

Marine Engineering course:

Duration- 2 years

Eligibility Criteria-
Diploma/Degree holder in Engineering from Institute approved by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
who have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam and not over 28 years of age are considered eligible for the course.

• Coimbatore Marine College

Pre-sea Training for Electro-Technical Officers on merchant ships:

Duration- 17 weeks

Eligibility Criteria-
The maximum age limit to be considered eligible for the course is 35 years. Candidate holding a degree in engineering are eligible to pursue the course irrespective of the marks secured in the qualifying exam but the degree must be recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
