what is the value of masters in public health? what is this about?
or any other short term course in usa after b.ds in india? what wud be the cost for such courses??

after bds complete in india you take up MDS course, with specialisation in various areas.

dear friend, if you want to pursue higher studies after completing your bds from abroad then i would suggest you to go for Mds it is good from future prospects and you will find lots of good universities there which offers these courses..all the best

i think as you completed bds you must further go for a mds in us then you will have a good scopes

Hi i have completed BDS from India and am doin a certificate course in esthetic dentistry presently. Wat courses can i do in USA "OTHER THAN DDS".. I am not particular about practising Dentistry only in USA.. So options do i have in USA? I am aware of MDS courses here in India but would like to know the options available in USA apart from DDS.

if u want to settle in usa...u need to clear firt of all the national board papers 1 & 2 then based on that score u'll get interview calls frm different colleges...to get admission in to dds...its oly after completing dds u can practice in usa...bds is not a valid degree in usa...i mean few colleges may consider it as basic...n can offer u 2yr dds programme...

Hi, iam also in the same dynamo. As i am in DC area, no college offers 2yrs dds. i was also looking for some short term courses in dentistry; now, i am going to join 2 yrs Dental hygiene course in jan 2012. Do you think of any other 2 yrs courses which is more useful?

Hi , is there any short course , not exceeding 2months, on oral maxillofacial surgery available anywhere in the world. Am a practising dentist in Malawi but most of the scope of our work can be related to oral and maxillofacial surgery. My work does not allow me to be o leave for extended period. So the need for short courses only. Thanks
