Re: Should I do directly do M.Tech after completing B.Sc? Which entrance exams I need to write?
GATE is the highest level exam to be held for M.Tech . There are various some universities or college which take intake for M.tech program on the basis of their own test. Start preparing hard and go for it.

Re: Should I do directly do M.Tech after completing B.Sc? Which entrance exams I need to write?
After BSc you can do engineering from any branch. With your BSc degree you are eligible to get admission directly in second year of engineering. For taking admission in engineering colleges you need to qualify any one of the following exams:
IITJEE AIEEE UPSEE WBJEE MPCET CGCET etc you can also go for LEET i.e. lateral entry entrance test which is held at state level to take diploma holders directly in second year of engineering courses. For direct admission to second year engineering, there were more than 30000 seats last year. Even after admitting diploma students, 6000 seats remained vacant. On this backdrop, the decision about B.Sc students has been taken. So far, only first class diploma students were eligible for admission to second year engineering. However, now diploma and B.Sc students with 50% marks can also get admission to second year engineering. all the best |

Re: Should I do directly do M.Tech after completing B.Sc? Which entrance exams I need to write?
My friend you can not appear for M.Tech after completing Bachelor of Science course, regardless the subject. Therefore forget about appearing in any entrance exam because this is not possible.
If your intention is to do M.Tech then you have two options. Firstly you can do M.Sc. After completing M.Sc you can apply for M.Tech course. The second option is to do Engineering via lateral entry. Engineering course (B.Tech) is possible for Bachelor of Science graduates. You can apply for B.Tech via lateral entry scheme which is the same scheme that also offers Engieering admission to the diploma in Engineering holders. Once you have completed the B.Tech course, you would be able to apply for the M.Tech. The procedure in both case would be the same. You will have to apply for the General Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE). Only after passing the test you would be able to apply for M.Tech. Therefore I would suggest that you continue with the studies. You can take M.Sc which would be 2 years long or B.Tech which would be 3 years long. The lateral entry students are offered admission is second year of B.Tech thus making Engineering a 3 years graduation course for them To get admisssion for the B.Tech via lateral entry you will have to either appear for Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET) or there is an option to get direct admission based on the merit. If you have scored at least 60 percent marks in B.Sc then several colleges would give you direct admission for B.Tech. Please remember that you can not appear for AIEEE or IIT-JEE for the admission. The procedure of lateral entry admission is quite different. |

Quote:
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for M.Tech after passing B.SC in Electronics. If you want to do M.Tech then you have to pass M.Sc in Electronics. After passing M.Sc you can apply for G.A.T.E exam. After qualifying this exam you can join join I.I.T or N.I.T For M.Tech in Electronics. GOOD LUCK! |
