hi, am sridhar from pondicherry...my UG is b.com... now doing mba general in private college in pondicherry.. but my interest is study the mba tourism in pondicherry university central govt... if i got the seat in university means can start my carrier in tourism... bec mba general is not comfortable for me.. and my parents also encouraging me for tourism .....

I am completed BA travel and tourism UG at kannur university..what can i do?

even i wanted to pursue my MBA IN PONDI UNIV but i got 1ly mba tourism....help me should i pursue it.....but my parents don want me to join TOURISM mainly dy say jobs wil be difficult is it soo????

after completing graduation in arts stream no idea occur about job ..you have only eligible for upsc exam other wise you have chance for master degree....so let me suggest you you may proceed mba in hospitalty ...............

Dear,

I suggest you to go for MTA( master of tourism administration) that too from Symbiosis college pune as this is a very reputed college and you can expect a great career ahead.

One more thing that i want to tell you is that MBA general can also help you but as you said you are only interested in tourism sector then its better to go for MBA Tourism.

Scope after MBA tourism :-
1. You can get professional jobs in Hotels, Airlines, Travel tourism companies, Group and planned holidays.
2. You can also easily start your own travel agency.
3. You can get more professional knowledge in MBA TOURISM from this course as well as this will give you a resume worth over MBA general candidates.

It is advisable to improve your communication skills as it is much needed now a days.

As you want to make your career in Tourism sector , so I will suggest you to choose MBA course in Travel and Tourism specialization. If you will complete MBA in Travel and Tourism specialization then it will help you very much in making your career in Travel and Tourism sector.
