Re: Should I have to appear in UPSC exam to become an Income Tax Officer?
Any candidate who want to become a Income Tax Officer firstly apply for UPSC Exam.
Candidate who wish to become a Income Tax officer, should apply for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by UPSC every year. The minimum qualification required for applying for CSE is graduation from a recognised University. Candidate should have attained the age of 21 years but should not be more than 30 years. There are Four attempts for General candidates who are eligible for this examination,no limit for SC/ST candidates, seven attempts for OBC candidates. There is a preliminary examination through which candidates are shortlisted for the main exam. Candidates who qualify the main exam are called for the personal interview. Based on the marks secured in the mains. Then merit list is made, which determines the choice of service. For more detail please go on Official website (www.upsc.gov.in) |
