Hello friends, I am doing MCom course. I am interested to do PhD. So, I would like to know that can I do PhD or I have to do MPhil 1st? Please help me to know about this. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

You can do a PhD after doing your M.Sc. You need to appear for an entrance exam. There are many of which UGC NET is one.
You need 55% in aggregate in your master's degree from a recognized university to be able to apply for NET as well as your PhD.
Doing M.Phil may enhance your chances of getting selected in the interview for PhD admission.
