Eligibility to pursue PhD(Finance) for an MCom student?


Hello everyone, I am pursuing MCom course and after completing my MCom I want to do PhD program. I am interested in Finance subject for PhD program. So, am I eligible to pursue PhD in Finance?

1. Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Commerce from a recognized university.

2. Candidate should also the masters in Biology/Pharmacy and Commerce or the relevant stream with an aggregate of 55% marks.

3. Candidate should also with valid Ph.D. entrance test along with the interview.

Eligibility to pursue PhD (Finance) for an M.Com student are as mentioned below:-
Aspirants must have passed Post-graduate degree in Commerce subjects like Accountancy, Mathematics or Economics from a recognised University.

Aspirants must have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate in Post-graduate degree for general category and a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Aspirants must have to qualify NET, GATE.

Age limit is not required.

1. Candidate should have graduation in M.Com, M.Phil, MBA from any recognized university.

2. Candidate should have a master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks.

3. There is no age limit to pursue this course.

Eligibility to pursue PhD finance for an M Com student:-
Candidates who wish to pursue PhD in finance need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-
Postgraduate degree in commerce subjects like accountancy, mathematics or economics.
A minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the same for general category candidates and a 5% relaxation for SC / ST/ OBC candidates.

Eligibility criteria to pursue PhD Finance:-

The candidate should have passed post graduation degree in accountancy, mathematics or economics with at least 55% marks from a recognised University .

5% relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates is given by Government rules.
