It is a good practice to retain your hall ticket after your exam, at least till the results are declared. It will be useful in case you forget your hall ticket number or is there is any error from the exam board, etc. Then it will serve as a proof to support your case. But such instances are usually rare, especially with CBSE exams. They are very accurate with doing things, so you need not worry.

As the school authorities have themselves taken the hall ticket, there is nothing to worry about. In case you need it in case of any emergency, you can always request them and they will give your hall ticket.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
