SBI Clerk Exam Details:- ## To give this exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate with not less than 60% of marks at 10+2 level. ## If you have a diploma degree then also yo can apply provided its a regular one and its duration is not less than two years. You need to get 60% of marks in this case as well. ## Even after completing graduation you can apply for this exam. You just need to get the pass marks then. You can do the graduation in any discipline of your choice. ## While applying for this exam your age should not be less than 18 years. For general category candidates the upper age limit is 28 years. ## There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. ~OBC Candidates: 3 Years. ~SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years. ~Physically Handicapped Candidates: 10 Years. ## Selection Procedure includes two stages or hurdles which you need to cross in order to get selected finally. It includes the following stages:- ~Written Examination ~Personal Interview ## Questions for the exam will be mainly objective type and therefore mainly conceptual ones. If you are well accustomed with the class XII syllabus then you will face little hindrance when sitting for this exam. ## For the exam you need to stress on the following sections:- ~General Awareness ~General English ~Quantitative Aptitude ~Reasoning Ability ~Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge ## For every right answer you will be getting one mark each. But there is negative marking too. So for every right answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the original score. ## You need to get 40% of marks in the written examination to qualify for the next stage of selection. Reserved category candidate needs to get 35% of marks. ## Final selection will be based on the marks you have got in both the stages of selection. A maximum of three people is generally called for the interview session for one single post vacant. Exam pattern
The syllabus for the SBI Clerk Entrance Exam is based completely on the syllabus of class 10+2. It will be from different boards like State, ISE and CBSE. The candidates must be acquainted with the syllabus of class 10+1 and 10+2. Final Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the written test and interview. The written test will have objective-type questions from: General Awareness General English Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning Ability Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge Negative marks for wrong answer in Objective test. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are also required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
