Steps to join Merchant Navy for WBCHSE 12th Commerce student?
Sir, I am interested to join Merchant Navy. I am studying in 12th standard from WBCHSE Board and taken Commerce stream. So, can you tell me about the steps through which I can join Merchant Navy?

Merchant Navy courses after 12th:
To join as a deck officer: B.Sc nautical science Diploma in nautical science To join as an engineer: BTech in Marine Engineering The minimum age is 17 and maximum is 25 years to be eligible for examinations pertaining to merchant navy. Physical fitness is of utmost importance for a career at sea. |
