Respected Sir/Madam, I want to join OTA through CDS. I am a girl candidate and I would like to know about the steps through which I can join OTA. And also let me know about the age limit for joining OTA. Thank you!

OTA refers to Officer's Training Academy and to join the same, you are required to qualify CDS (Combined Defense Services) examination held by UPSC twice every year.

Further, the examination comprises of two stages which includes Written Examination followed by SSB (Service Selection Board) interview.

The basic qualifications required to appear in CDS examination to join its OTA wing are as below :-

* You must be an Indian citizen.

* Your age must lie within 20 years to 25 years.

* You must have completed your graduation degree course from a recognized university. Students appearing in the final year if their graduation degree course are also eligible.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.
