My name is priyanka gurung im a student and im much intrested to join National Defence Academy but i have a many question regarding height,maximum qualification nd strem.

FOR NDA

age must be within 16 half to 19 half years!!

and should pass 12 th class exam

and minimum acceptable hieght for NDA is 157.5 cm


and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employement newspaper!!

But girls cannot apply NDA is only for Boys...
But girls can join armed force after graduation you can write CDS and SSB exam for officer entry into armed forces..

details criteria need to join NDA are given below

>>candidate should belongs to science back ground in class 12th.

>>should have the subjects physics, chem, math in 12th.

>>minimum 60% marks in 12th.

>>age limit is 16.5-19 years.

for NDA height should be around 5 foot 8 inch.

eyeshight should be 6/6.

your health should be sound.

The candidate must have finished his 12th in any stream in a recognized school education board with 10th and 12th pattern.
If you had done 12th with physics , chemistry , maths you could have also joined air force and indian navy.

Height and other features required in nda:-
Apart from that the age limitation is between 16.5 -19.5 years.
Minimum height requirement is 157.5 cm with chest expansion of 5cm.
Eyesight should be 6/6.

For sitting in NDA exam

!. your age should be 16.5 to 19 years

!. you should have a 12th class pass certificate

!. Your hight should not be less than 157.5 cm.

priyanka,girls are not eligible for NDA exam,
but here i clear qualification, age criteria

Hello friend, nda stands for national defense academy. The eligibility criteria for nda:- educational qualification is 12th in any stream and age limit is 16.5 to 19years. Prepare well.all the best

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice.NDA exam includes Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA (Air Force,Navy):
Candidate should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university.
Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Candidate should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

It depends upon the field in which you want to join..
NDA exam is an entrance exam to join in defense in different fields..

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

For Indian army wing:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade from a recognized central/state education board..
For Navy/Air force wing:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th in science with physics, chemistry and maths with 60% aggregate..

Age eligibility:-
The age should be in between 16.5-19 years..

NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam is held twice in a year in the months of April and August..

The candidates interested in joining the NDA should fulfill the following criterion :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out (with PCM as your subjects if you want to join Indian Air Force or Indian Navy)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

The minimum acceptable height for NDA is 157.5 cm

Apart from these qualifications..you must be physically fit and should have a perfect eye sight..

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a a year.

QUALIFICATION:-
>For Indian army pass 12th with any stream
>For Indian navy, air force pass 12th with physics, chemistry and maths

Your high should above 156cm.

NDA constists of 3 wings namely :
1. Indian Army
2. Indian Air Force
3. Indian Navy
To apply for NDA Indian Army, any stream can be taken.
But to apply for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, you can opt for Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
¤ The eligibility criteria for NDA given below -->
1. The candidate must be an Indian.
2. The candidate must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks.
3. The age limit is - 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

4. The candidate must be physically fit.

Sorry to say that girls are not eligible for this test ( NDA ) .
For NDA
Only unmarried male candidates having age16-19 are eligible for writing the exam .
So if you are really interested to army then go through CDS exam in which female candidates are allowed .

To join NDA(National Defence Academy) the candidate must have qualify the entrance exam conducted by The Union Public Service Commission.
Eligibility Criteria:
1.only Unmarried Male candidates are apply for NDA Entrance test.
2.Age between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
3.A candidate must be a citizen of India.
The selection of the candidate in to the Air force,Naval,Army wings through NDA entrance test.
Educational qualification:
For Army:-A candidates must have pass +2 exam or any equivalent exam in any recognized Board /University.
For Naval and Air Force:-A candidate must have pass +2 or 12th class exam / equivalent with Math & Physics in any recognized Board/university.
so,it is clear that only science stream students are join Air force /Naval through NDA & Any streams of candidates are apply for Army through NDA entrance exam.

Any stream student who have passed 10+2 can apply for NDA exam.

But those who are willing to join Air Force and Navy through NDA exam must ensure that they have completed 10+2 with physics and mathematics.

For Indian Army through NDA exam you can be from any stream in 10+2.

The age required for NDA exam should be between 16.5 to 19 years and should be unmarried male only.

The NDA examination will contain following stages:

-Objective type paper of 900 marks.

-SSB interview of 900 marks .

-Medical Examination

Those who are medically unfit will be rejected in any case.

The merit is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the objective type paper and SSB interview and the vacancies will be filled according to the merit.

I appreciate your interest in the NDA Examination and to make a career in it, but I am really sorry to say that GIRLS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE NDA Examination..

Please do not get disheartened but this is a fact. Indian Government doesn't allow girls to take part in the NDA Examination conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) So you being a girl are not eligible to sit for this exam..

So its would be of no use to know about the NDA. However please do not get disheartened by this fact. I must tell you that girls can get entries in the Defense after they are done with their graduation course. So as of now, I would request you to complete your graduation in a particular course that you wish to take up..Make sure you do it as a regular course and from a recognized college or university in our country..

CDS - Combined Defense Services is the exam organized and conducted by the UPSC for you. Its conducted twice every year for the recruitment purpose. All graduates are eligible to apply for it and even the final year appearing students are also eligible.
Age should be within 21-25 years and you should be physically and mentally fit.

The official notification for the CDS 2013 is already out and the last date to apply is round the corner. So I would suggest you can take a look at the notification for more info, as this year being in 12th you cannot apply. After completing your graduation this entry to the defense would open up..

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

It is totally depending upon one's interest to which stream of NDA he will join.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The eligibility criteria which are to be fulfilled to get admission in NDA are as follows;
-12th class degree of 10+2 system of education for Indian Army and 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics for Navy and Air Force.
-Only Male candidate can apply for the exam.
-The age limit to apply for the exam is 16.5 yrs to 19 yrs of age.
As you are a girl,you can't apply for the NDA exam to join defense services.There is another option for you to get into Defense services,i.e.,CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam which is also conducted by UPSC.
The eligibility to apply for CDS exam are as under:-
-Graduation in any stream for Indian Army,B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics for Indian Navy and 10+2 with Physics and Math for Air Force.
-The age limit to apply for the exam are 19 to 24 yrs for Indian army,19 to 22 yrs for Navy and 19 to 23 yrs for Air force.
