I've completed MBBS a couple of months back.Since I don't like to work in hospitals I want to go for more research oriented fields like genetics abroad or in India.It doesn't matter if the masters doesn't require an MBBS degree but a graduate one.Can anyone help?

Yes definitely you can go for studying genetics after doing MBBS.

If you have not interest in medicine then you must prefer what you like better.

The genetics field these days has very bright future.

You can even go for further studies in this field by doing some R&D works in India or abroad.

There are many institutes in India which are the renowned ones to pursue the genetics post graduation course.

May be you can prefer going to Australia and UK,for starting a fresh career in genetics..
