hai friend it is better to read the text book of your subjects that gives the best rank for you.
your decision is good to read of the maths but not only maths you will read attitude bits also then you will get good rank in GATE.

I recommend you to read GATE Engineering Mathematics by RK Kanodia. It has excellent collection of problems with full solution.

You can also refer the GATE maths book by tata mcgraw and hill

As you know that the GATE is conducted by the IITs and the IISC Banglore, for admission in their post graduation course. GK publisher book is enough. for detailed study we have to study from the basic engineering mathematics volume 1,2,3. then probability,numerical methods we have to study from text boooks of these

you have to read your own subjects & clarify all the basics things not only mathematic . you may purchase GATE2012 book for reference .

there are many others books also available in market . you have to also pravtice aptitude papers & reasioning question .

I personally suggest you to join some coaching institute for scoring good rank in gate exam or to join correspondence course .
