Which subject area to opt in UPSC after completion of B.Com?
I have completed my graduation in Commerce (B.Com). So, which stream I have to choose while applying for UPSC Civil Service entrance examination? And, what is the UPSC exam date for 2020 session?

The acronym UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. UPSC conducts large number of examination at national level. Civil Services examination is one of them. There are three stages of this exam.
The first stage is Preliminary exam. The examination will be conducted on 31st May, 2020. The second stage is mains exam. You can select Commerce as optional subject in UPSC Civil Services Mains exam. It will be helpful since you have done bachelor's degree in commerce. |

Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in three stages.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidates are eligible to select the optional paper for Mains examination even other than bachelor degree discipline. So, you can select anyone of the paper from the list in the notification to appear for the examination. For more information regarding examination pattern and syllabus visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

The date of preliminary examination for Union Public Service Commission Civil Services exam is 31st May 2020.

UPSC stand for Union Public Service Commission.
The eligibility criteria required to apply for this examination is Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Candidate age must lie between 21 to 33 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination. --Commerce and Accountancy is the Subjects to opt in UPSC after completion of B.com.
Eligibility Criteria:- --Candidate must passed 12th from a recognized board with minimum of 50-60%Mark's. -- Candidate must passed Graduation from a recognized board with minimum of 50%Mark's. --Age not less than 21 years and not more than 33 years. --Age as well as Mark's percentage relaxation also available for the reserved category candidate.
