Respected Sir/Madam, I want to prepare for CPT exam. For this, I am searching for the books through which I can prepare for this exam. Can you please suggest me some highly recommended books for preparation?

CA CPT is the gateway into the profession of Chartered Accountant (CA) for (10+2) students. Students who have passed graduation in commerce stream with at least 55% marks or passed graduation in other than commerce stream with at least 60% marks in aggregate are exempted from CA CPT and can apply directly for CA IPCC.

CA CPT Exam Pattern
- Exam consists of two sessions. Each session is of 2 hours and total time for CA CPT exam is 4 hours.
- Number of Questions : 200
- Total Marks : 200
- For every correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Session 1
- Fundamentals of Accounting and Mercantile Laws : 40 Marks
- Mercantile Laws : 60 Marks

Session 2
- General Economics : 50 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude : 50 Marks
