Which subject has more scope between Economics and Environmental Science for ICSE Board?


My son is going go to the 9th standard ICSE Board and has chosen Mathematics and dropped Science. So I would like to know what should he take as his third group subject between Economics and EVS? Since he liked Science but had to drop it since he didn’t like Chemistry?

The scope of environmental studies is wide and deals with areas like
Conservation of natural resources
Ecological aspects
Controlling pollution
Impact of human population on environment etc

Economics field id also very interesting and covers areasand career options like
Economist
Financial Risk Analyst
Accountant
Investment Analyst
Financial Consultant etc

Thus if you are interested in natural resources, then you can opt environment other economics has better opportunities in future and can be opted as career.
