What subjects should I choose in 10+2 to join Air Force?

To join in Indian Air Force you should have completed your 12th with Physics and maths subject.

So you can choose

Maths and computer science (or)
Maths and Biology.

In 12th you should have studied Physics and Mathematics as subjects. Also you must be an unmarried male candidate. Age should be between 16 ½ and 19 years. Selection to Air Force is made through UPSC conducted NDA exam. This test is conducted two times an year.

Eyesight criteria :Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6.

Height criteria :The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm.(Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms)

The examination is held for the recruitment for the following wings :

Indian Air Force

Indian Army

Indian Navy

Eligibility Criteria :

You must be an Indian.

You must be an unmarried male candidate.

You must be physically fit.

The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years.

You must have qualified the 12th standard examination or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

Final year candidates and those who are awaiting results may also apply.

To join Indian Air Force after 12th you should choose Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 11th standard after 10th standard.

Indian Air Force can be joined through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy along with Indian Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Indian Air Force is one of the wings of Indian defense.

To Join the Indian Air Force, you need to pass the NDA Exam which is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

The NDA Exam is conducted in the months of April and August as NDA-I & NDA-II respectively.

The Subjects that you should choose in 12th to join the IAF are :

1.Computer science
2.Biology
3.Commerce
4.Accountancy
etc..

But for you if you want to go for the Airforce
best way is Computer science group

Hai, you want to join in Air Force. For that you have to study maths and physics. After completion of your 12th class, you have to write NDA exam. NDA means National Defense Academy which is conducted twice in a year in the months of March and August.
And you have an age in between 16(1/2) to 19 years.

dear student for air force on 12th basis you are required to opt for physics, maths, chemistry, physics and maths are mandatory and chemistry or bia as optional,

so for air force you must go for physics and maths

To join in defence side it is better to take mpc group.gives more information about maths and other subjects.

You should take the following subjects in 10+2 to join Air Force further :

1) Mathematics with 75% marks in 12th
2) Science (Physics + Chemistry) with 75% marks in each subject in 12th
3) English with 75% marks in 12th

So, you have to take Science stream in 12th with PCM as main subjects.
After completion of 12th you need to write NDA exam to get into Indhan airforce.

1. You have to write the NDA Exam

3. Female candidate is not allowed to do NDA only an unmarried male Indian can do NDA.

4. Candidate's eyesight should be normal 6/6 without the disease color blind and night blind.
