The fee structure of various courses conducted by the FTII is given below:

I) Three year P.G. Diploma in Film and Television

Unhappy with the syllabus and tenure of the restructured academic programme introduced in 2000, FTII students have been on strike agitating for change. As a result, the present pyramidal pattern has been replaced.

According to the latest notification, FTII now offers 3-yr Diploma courses in:
1) Direction,
2) Cinematography,
3) Editing
4) Audiography (10 seats in each course).

Eligibility for courses 1-3: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognised university.
For course 4: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Physics at 10+2 level. Admission to these courses will be done on the basis of an Entrance Exam to be held at 12 centres. Preference will be given to those who submit samples of their earlier creative work in preferred areas of specialisation.
Tution Fees: Rs. 1,50,000
