The Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examination is one of the most prestigious examinations in the field of Film and media. Structure and Syllabus for FTII Test

Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examinations are basically conducted to test the candidate on the specific area that he or she has chosen. More over, in the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examinations, there will be questions on General Knowledge and General Mental Ability. The maximum marks for the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examinations are 100 and the duration of the examination is 3 hrs i.e. from 10-1pm.

There is as such no specific syllabus for the courses with regard to the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examinations, since majority of the courses offered by the Film and Television Institute are skill based or performing art subject. It is a must that one should posses enough knowledge in their desired subject in order to get through the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examination. In addition to that, one should concentrate on the General Knowledge part especially with regard to film media and from the world of entertainment. One should be well aware of the different socio-economic developments that are happening in and around the world. Awards and Recognition, for example. Eligibility Criteria for FTII Test

The eligibility criteria for the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examination is a degree in the respective subjects from a government recognized institution or university. But some courses like courses in Sound Engineering, students must have done their 10+2 with Physics as one of their optional subjects.

How to Apply for FTII Test?

For applying for the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examination one can either apply through the online mode or the offline mode. In either of the modes, the application fees has to be paid. The application fee for the general candidates is Rs. 2000 including OBC candidates (non-Creamy Layer). The application fees for the SC and ST candidates are Rs.1650. In the online mode, the candidates can fill up the online application form and sent the relevant documents along with two photographs to be uploaded at the institute’s website. They should also send a declaration by their parents along with the documents. In the offline mode, the candidates can have a copy of the admission prospectus either by post or by hand along with a demand draft taken on the name of “Accounts Officer FTII Pune”.

How to fill the form for FTII Test?

Before filling the forms of the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examination, the candidate must read all the instruction in the admission brochure very carefully. Any mistake in filling the application form will lead to the rejection of the application. In the online mode, the candidates should fill the online form and upload two photographs of them in the specified fields. When the demand draft and other documents are received by the institute, the status of the candidate will be automatically updated. The students are advised to check the status of their online application with the username and password given to them.
