The exam will basically have two sections. In the first part the questions will be objective in nature. The candidates will have attempt questions from the area of specialisation in graduation and also the general studies areas. In the second sections along with technical questions there will be questions in English and Gujarati Language. Only after clearing this will the candidates be called for the final interview.

GPSC is state level public sector exam for Gujarat state.

2)General Sciences
3)Indian Polity and Economy
4)Indian and world geography
5)General Mental Ability
6)History of India and Indian National movement.

for preparation of commission examination for the section "Indian polity and economy,Indian and world geography and history of India and Indian national movement" you should have to refer N.C.E.R.T text book from class 6th to 10th and read daily news paper and Manorma year book for general Awareness.
