kindly guide regarding the schedule, procedure and syllabus for drug inspector examination. I m working as a lecturer in a college and have completed my m. pharm in yr 2005.would like to work in maharashtra only.kindly help

Dear friend,

Yes, M.Phram student are eligible for DRUG INSPECTOR EXAM.

Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is given below.

You must have completed degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or equivalent.

Also you have 3 years' experience in the manufacture or testing of Biological .

Your age must be above 18 years.Your maximum age must be below 32 years.

yes u r elligeble for DI exam

Qualifications of Inspector:-

A person who is appointed as an inspector under the act shall be a person who has a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical science or medicine with specialisation in clinical pharmacology or microbiology from a university recognized by the government of India.
Provided that only those Inspectors:-
1.who have not less than 18month experience in the manufacture of at least one of the subjects specified.
2.Who have not less than 18month experience in testing of at least one of the subjects specified in a laboratory approved for this purpose by the licensing authority;or
3.who have gained experience of not less than 3 years in the inspection of firms manufacturing any of the substances specified.
