PAPER PATTERN for TANCET M.E/M.Tech

Duration:: 2hours

Question paper is of 3 parts out of which Ist and IInd part are compulsory.
In Part III candidates have to chose his core subjects

Part – I Mathematics :

Toal no fo question asked ::30 objective type and there is negative marking.

Part – II Basic Engineering & Sciences :

Toal no fo question asked :: 45 objective type questions. The candidates should answer
a minimum of 30 questions and there is negative marking.

Part – III Specializations

Question asked are based on what you have studied in your engineering degree

TANCET - Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test is conducted by TNSF-Consortium for admission to the MBA, MCA, ME/ M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan programme of the participating colleges and Universities.

Eligibility : You need to be a graduate in any discipline under the 10+2+3/4 pattern

Exam Pattern : The test is split into 5 sections

1. Quantitative Ability
2. Analytical Reasoning
3. Logical Reasoning
4. Knowledge Of Written English
5. Computer Awareness

Duration of the Test : 2 Hours
