I want to apply for government jobs and currently attaining age of 42 years. Am I eligible for the government jobs in Jammu & Kashmir as it is a Union Territory now?

The upper age limit for open merit candidates was fixed at 35 years from the current 32 years . The order in this regard is issued by the Commissioner Secretary.
Thus the age is between 32 to 35 years depending on the post for which one has applied.
For teacher recruitment, the age must be between 18 to 40 years. Relaxation is provided to reserved categories.
Thus it keeps on varying depending on the post and position .
