Hi everyone, I want to secure admission in IIT-Kharagpur for studying MCA course. I am studying in BCA right now. So, is there any entrance exam for securing admission in this institute for this course?

IIT does not MCA course.

So, you are not eligible to get admission in MCA course in IIT.

Candidates are eligible to get admission in NIT's in MCA course after qualifying in NIMCET examination.

IIT does not offer MCA course.

So, you are not eligible to appear for the entrance examination to get admission in MCA course in IIT.

If you want to get admission in government college, you have to appear and qualify in NIMCET examination.

You should have minimum educational qualifications to get admission to IIT Roorkee or Kharagpur for MCA
:-You should have bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject for at least one year You would need to give the entrance exam which is known as JAM.
The Joint Admission Test (JAM) for admission to MCA in IIT Roorkee includes:
:-You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks or 50% for SC/ ST & OBC.
:- You should have to submit the proof of having passed the bachelors degree with the minimum eligibility qualification.
:-You will also need to submit the medical certificate from a government certified doctor.
