Re: Is there any good scope in MBA correspondence course?
Yes definitely an MBA course has immense scope in the present job market. It will help you to get jobs in both the sectors. Regarding the Correspondence MBA it can be opted by candidates who are working or they are not convenient in going for the part time courses due to many reasons. While choosing the correspondence course, you should make sure that the institute is an affiliated one. There are many reputed institutes which offer the part time MBA. Some of them are IGNOU, Sikkim Manipal University, Annamalai University etc.

Re: Is there any good scope in MBA correspondence course?
dear friends,
one things should be remembered that first choice of the employers is always, who have done their mba in traditional manner(in the classroom), because no doubt that they have more interact with latest case studies. Regular students goes through with a lot of case studies, SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis and Presentations. So, practically we cannot campare with them. So firstly, try to do mba regulary, if you cannot do so due to some reason. Then you should go for the distance mode only. if you have made plan for mba with distance mode, than you should balance your student life, personal life and working life effectively. You must have to be good in time management. As a distance learner, you could be the second choice for the Employer, so from the beginning of the course you must be punctual with your classes. Try to solve the case studies as you can. Explore more on the internet as you can for the latest bussiness trends, so you can discuss with your classmates. Make your degree valueable as you can. Some of the reputed institutes list is here:- 1) Institue of Management and Technology. 2) Symbiosis 3) Amity Business school 4) Sikkim Manipal University 5) IGNOU 6) XLRI Remember that toplist university have the greater respect in the market. So try to do mba from top universities. If one can do just try to do the course from IIM, XLRI, IMT, Amity Business School and Symbiosys because they have greater value than other. |

Re: Is there any good scope in MBA correspondence course?
Yes off course you can pursue MBA(Masters of Business Administration) even after completing your BA in private. As you satisfy the minimum requirement to pursue MBA , no body can deny you admission in any MBA college on this basis that you have completed your graduation through private mode.
For getting a good MBA college , you should appear for exams such as MAT, CAT, XAT,MH-CET etc. These exams can get you into one of the top most MBA colleges if you scored a very good percentile(for example above 90 percentile) in any of the above exam especially CAT. So, in my opinion you should start preparing for the entrance exams as soon as possible as the competition is really huge and the course content is also vat as well as application based |

Re: Is there any good scope in MBA correspondence course?
Hi
MBA stands for the Master's in Business Administration. It is regarded as the top end course in the market these days. Most of the Corporate Companies are asking for MBA degrees these days as they are truly professional in a manner that creates Corporate candidates. The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to study MBA are : 1. You should be a minimum graduate in any stream from a recognized college or university to be able to take up MBA course. 2. Good colleges like IIM's ask for 60% and above in 10th and 12th also. 3. There is no age limit for this course and so it can be done anytime. Now you also have to sit for the entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, Jamia, etc to get selected in some good college. Now as you ask that if the MBA correspondence holds any value in the market, I would say in a way yes, but it doesn't hold the exact value as a regular course. The distance learning is started for the persons who are unable to attend classes or unable to devote regular time to studies like working professionals etc. So for them MBA correspondence is a boon, but Still I would suggest you to take up MBA regular as it would adversely affect your academic career. So make the best of it. 2 years is not a long time after all. The decision is upto you. All the best Regards #RJ# |

Re: Is there any good scope in MBA correspondence course?
Correspondence Management courses are helpful in the following ways:
To earn increment in the existing job To get promotion in the existing job To gather additional management expertise for self career progression I am an MBA by correspondence. My frank opinion is that your market value just does not move up because you have completed MBA. It merely gives you satisfaction that you have a paper degree and, in my case, acquisition of additional knowledge. The way the universities churn out correspondence degrees (and earn money in the process) speaks volumes for the quality. Can any right thinking person conclude that eight days of contact session would put you at par with IIM A or IIM C candidate? Boys devise ways to bunk even these eight days by getting someone to mark attendance or disappearing after the attendance is taken! Invariably, the faculty earmarked for the contact sessions are third rate. They just start dictating notes like 8th standard boys. Assignments are eyewash. Projects, even if completed seriously (many working professionals have ample scope to execute better projects than full time students) are just not evaluated seriously. How can 100 thesis reports be evaluated by three faculty members in three hours? Study materials, the less said the better. So, in conculsion, let me repeat that correspondence management degrees are for your acquiring knowledge and improving your prospects in the existing job. Do not get disheartened. This is the reality! |

Re: Is there any good scope in MBA correspondence course?
dear,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
by doing B.com,you can get the jobs in government field, but the job demand and salary prospect is very less. you can try hard in m.com it has co related to b.com you have wide oppertunities study or else you can do do higher study like MBA,CA,CS,PGDCA then you have great prospect in future.on the base B.com there is very less chance to get job and if you get ,then that's not satisfy salary and job.so if you want to do higher study, you can also do PG course in diploma after completing the B.com. aftter this options you have right oppertunities in further ........ all the best |
