There are no OBC seats in West Bengal. Please refer the counselling notice of 2012 from wbhealth.

Admission in mbbs courses in central institutes and 15% seats of state institutes will be filled through central counselling based on your NEET-2013 rank .Reservation criteria for these 15% seats is as follow:-

1. 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates.
2. 7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidates.
3. 27% seats are reserved for non-creamy layer OBC candidates.
4. 3% seats are reserved for PH candidates.


The left 85% seats will be filled by states according to there procedure
In case of west bengal the reservation system for admission is as follows:-

1. Government of West Bengal has also provided reservation @ 22% for SC & 6% for ST in case of admission to educational courses.

2. No reservation for OBC in higher education has yet been introduced in west bengal yet(However .7% reservation has been provided in respect of admission to Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary courses).
