yes it have been increased by 5% and mostly for reservations only and no increse in open category.for more queries u can go through the official website of the colleges.

FOR WBJEE 2011 SEATS:-

The current number of engineering seats in West Bengal is around 28,500.

The current 1,205 medical seats will also be increased by another 1,000 from this year

never.that is the very poor score to get admission in mbbs colleges in west bengal.

if 300 seats are increased closing rank will be 1000-1050.for 500 seats =1125-1175 for 700 seats =1300-1350 if there is increased trend for mbbs thn for 300=940-960 for 500=1065-1100, for 700=1175-1200.for gov colleges ,for 1st counsln 30 -40 rank will b less. for private college i.e for kpc another 100 ranks wl get mbbs
