Is there any relaxation in NEET examination for OBC caste candidates?


I belong to OBC caste category and wanted to know if there is any relaxation or reservation in NEET examination or not for OBC candidates? If yes, then please share the relaxation details.

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by NTA.

The common eligibility to appear for the examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have scored minimum 50% aggregate in 12th.

There is relaxation in cut off due to reservation of seats for OBCs.

Yes, there is relaxation for OBC(non-creamy layer) candidates in NEET.

A total of 27% seats in any govt. college are reserved for OBC candidates.

Also the cut-off to clear the exam is lower than the unreserved candidates.

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by NTA.

As per the NEET 2019 eligibility criteria, a candidate is required to complete 17 years of age either at the time of admission or else on or before December 31, 2019. The candidates belonging to unreserved category must not be more than 25 years of age to fulfil the NEET eligibility criteria 2019.

There is relaxation in cut off due to reservation of seats for OBCs.
