The age limit prescribed for a senior post in a government institution is 56 years. But I am 57 years old and belongs to OBC caste category. If I am eligible for applying for this post then how can I apply? Is there any relaxation in age for OBC caste category candidates?

As per government norms, there is relaxation in upper age limit of three years for OBC category.

So, if for any post the upper age limit prescribed is 56 years then, being an OBC category candidates you can apply till the age of 59 years. For more information go through the official notification.
