Re: Is there any reservation in CSIR-NET exam
yes,in NET,
UGC has provided 15% and 7.50% reservation for SCs and STs respectively in appointments, both in teaching and non-teaching posts, admissions, hostel accommodation, etc. in universities/colleges. there is also relaxation in minimum qualification marks for sc/sts. So you can prepare well and all the best for your NET exam!!! |

Re: Is there any reservation in CSIR-NET exam
The normal percentage required for appearing for this exam is 55% during Masters course. However some relaxation has been provided to SC/ST candidates. They need to secure a minimum of 50% marks to appear for the test. At the time of application make sure to attach the copy of the certificate to support the OBC claim. You can visit the UGC site for details.

Re: Is there any reservation in CSIR-NET exam
Why csir did not mentioned in dec 2014 or june 2015 nitificatiin that they are going to give seprate merit list for obc non creamy layer.since i married in general caste and by knowing that there is no reservation for obc.i filled my form in general catogry.according to obc i cracked JRF but now due to genral caste catgory i got only LS.seems csir cheated me.

Re: Is there any reservation in CSIR-NET exam
I am from obc category but have not ncl. I qualified JRF NET with marks above cut off for general category. By mistake I mentioned myself obc ncl in my application form. Would csir consider me in general category?
