sir is there a girls quota in aieee to get admission into iiit's or nit's

dear friend ,


for your kind information there is no girls quota for the admission in the nit's or in the iiit's.

there are different categories which have different reservation scales.
like obc have 27% reservation of all the seats.

there are other quota's like
1) all india quota
2) home state quota

these type of quota are available in the counselling of the aieee for the admission in the iiit's or in nit's.

home state quota have 50% reservation of all seats.
candidate who have passed the 12th exam in the particular state that particular state is referred as candidate's home state .
for example : if you pass 12th exam from Punjab state then Punjab is your home state.

Information Regarding Reservation Category in the IIT and NIT college.

There are no any girls quota in the AIEEE or IIT JEE examination. The reservation is only for the reservation category candidates like SC/ST/OBC/PD candidates. So, if you are a general category candidates then you will not get any reservation in the AIEEE and IIT JEE entrance examination.

IIT JEE and AIEEE is the most famous engineering entrance examination of India. Every year a large number of candidates appear in this exam to test their fate but seat is limited so competition become really hard. So, if you want to crack this exam then do hard work.

sir.....m the only femle child of my parents.belonging.to obc ncl muslim..i.live in jamshedpur and had given aieee 2012 can i get nit.jsr.after scoring.130 ? plz reply.

I am sorry to say but there is no girl's quota in IIT's or NIT's.
there is only two quota- home state quota and all india quota. best of luck

Sorry to say, but there is not Girls quota in AIEEE or IIT-JEE for admission.
There is reservation for backward classes like SC, ST, OBC,etc. but no reservation for Girls.
However, in year 2012, the cost of application form of IIT-JEE for Girls was only Rs.200 which led to large number of girls applying for IIT-JEE 2012.
In IIT-JEE, candidates get IITs according to All India Merit Basis while in case of AIEEE, 50% seats are filled through all India merit basis and rest 50% is filled by the candidates of that state only in which that NIT is situated.

Unfortunately there is nothing as 'girls quota' in AIEEE. You will crack the exam and get a rank if you manage to score 48 in the general category. As such scoring 48 is not that tough. Just complete your syllabus of class XI and XII with a little more depth and you will be able to crack the exam. for more help subscribe for the MTG magazines which come out monthly. These magazines are for PCMB and are filled with plenty of questions and practice papers along with the correct solutions.

It Depends on the category you belong , i.e., if you belong to general category, then there is no reservation for you but if you belong to any of the reserved categories in that case you will get reservation as mentioned below :

27 % seats are reserved for OBC Category.

15% seats are reserved for SC Category.

7.5% seats are reserved for ST Category.

3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped Students.
