]--Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Services Examination:-
Academic - MA (Cooperation)/M Com with Cooperation or Degree in Cooperation or Diploma in Rural Services or Diploma in Associateship of Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Age - 21-28 years. No age limit for SC/ST/BC candidates.

Tamil Nadu Cooperative Subordinate/Secretariat/ Ministerial Services Examination:-
Academic Qualification -Degree.
For Co-operative Subordinate Service - Degree plus Diploma in Rural Services
Age - 21-28 years.

Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Services Examination:-
Academic Qualifications - B.Sc.
Age - 18-28 years

Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Subordinate Services Group VII
Examination:-
Academic Qualifications - Degree.
Age - 30-35 years.

VAO stands for Village Administrative Officers. For the recruitment of these officers an exam is conducted by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission. Generally the notifications of this exam is published in the Employment news and in the official website of TNPSC.

To sit for this examination you need to have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission into Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) in College Courses of studies. Even if you have higher qualifications you still have to show the SSLC certificate.

The lower age limit for giving this exam is 21 years and the upper age limit for general category candidate is 30 years. The upper age limit should not exceed 40 years in case of SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars),STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes.

It is essential to have studied Tamil language for this post. So you should have the following certificates to prove that:-

• S.S.L.C Public Examination with Tamil as one of the languages.
• High School Course in Tamil Medium and passed the S.S.L.C Public Examination in Tamil Medium.
• Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil, conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

Written Exam Pattern:-

Questions will come from the following sections:-

• General Knowledge- 100 Questions (150 marks)
• General English/General Tamil- 100 Questions (150 marks)

You should get 90 marks out of 300 to pass.
