The total seats varies from institution to institution. For example, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, offers undergraduate programs in the field of Avionics and Aerospace Engineering. To take admission to the undergraduate programme candidates have to appear for the IIST Admission Test -ISAT, which is conducted every year. The total number of seats for the undergraduate programmes in Institute of Space Science and Technology is 156.
