i m prepareing for bank po. and in the question i want to attempt all the number series correctly and quick. if u give some trick to solve those number series how to solve quickly. i m really thankfull to you.

In Maths practice is only the mantra for success.Number series are asked in various exams like CAT,MAT,XAT and even Bank examinations under Numerical Reasoning part.They are primarily tests of reasoning ability and it does not need vast amount of application of Mathematics.If your strong in the basic part like percentages,ratio's and proportions,fractions and decimals then you can go through this part easily.

Refer various books like R.S Agarwal (Logical reasoning),GRE Barron and other such books.Since you want to go through Bank PO exams hence R.S Agarwal books will suit according to the syllabus part.Solve as many problems as you can and definitely it will turn out easy for you.Here I have attached a material you can even try to solve it.

Going through Vedic Mathematics text book will definitely help you to solve bank problems easily.

you can solve them easily by using some shortcuts..such questions are also asked in CAT so you can take up any good coaching institute's study material for CAT and look for the numerical problems..in that book..you will find many shortcuts and tricks to solve long calculations,taking squares,etc
you can buy it from your nearest book depot..all the best

what d problem i face that after in between 5 problem i only able to do 3 or may b some time 4 .. if d number series is little hard i cant do it... quickly...thats why

that means go to coaching for getting easy tips and make a practice all previous papers and then you will get confidence

plz send me the tricks to solve the number series resoning que of mat.

Buy a book of R.S aggarwal of S.Chand publication for reasoning,verbal and non verbal.
It has many solved examples and hints to every exercise questions.
The first chapter is about sequencing.
Even i was very dull in solving those problems but after trying the book every question has become very easy for me.

the best approach is to generate a functn ,frm the given series

if 9=4,21=9,
10=3,
3= ?
